Suitability?  Hale Honu is suitable for couples, children, families, groups travelling together--just about anyone.

Transportation?  Most folks rent cars as the Big Island is, well, big.  For those who want to keep it ambulatory, there are taxis available at the airport and Hale Honu is within walking distance (3 miles) of a grocery store, restaurants and drugstore, and less than a mile from two beaches.  There is also a shuttle that runs to and from Kona town along Alii Drive (approximately every 35 minutes).  For everything else, you'll need wheels.

Best Time to Visit?  January through March offers whale-watching and cooler weather, but really any time is a great time to visit the Big Island.  Temperatures vary from the mid-70's to the mid-80's throughout the year.

What's there to do?  The Big Island is full of activities from water sports, hiking, golfing, skiing (in the winter), to sightseeing at
